Product Specifications The following are suggested CTC product specifications. They are designed to clarify installation to the contractors bidding on and performing the work. All products listed are manufactured by Ceramic Tool Company. 800-236-5230 - Fax 262-513-9332

CTC Joint EXPANSION and CONTROL JOINTS: Provide prefabricated caulk joint consisting of two solid extruded "L" angles with factory installed two part polyurethane sealant, color to match grout joint color, specified by architect. Height to match tile, stone or wood thickness. Available in clear & bronze finish. EXECUTION: Provide prefabricated CTC Joint where shown and to comply with details, and, if not shown and detailed, at locations to comply with recommendations in TCNA Handbook - Vertical and Horizontal Joint Design Essentials EJ171-05. CTC Edge METAL EDGE STRIPS: Provide anodized aluminum edge strip with 1/8" reveal at top edge and integral provision for anchorage to mortar bed or substrate. Height to match tile, stone or wood thickness. Finish to be determined by architect. CTC Carpet Trim TILE TO CARPET TRANSITIONS: Provide anodized aluminum strip with reveal at top edge, for carpet protection and integral provision for anchorage to mortar bed or substrate. To be installed with leg under hard surface flooring where the carpet and hard surface meet. Height to match, tile, stone or wood thickness. Reveal width and finish to be determined by architect. CTC Backwards Carpet Trim TILE TO CARPET TRANSITIONS: Provide anodized aluminum edge strip with 3/8" reveal at top edge, for carpet protection and integral provision for anchorage to mortar bed or substrate. To be installed with leg under carpeting where the carpet and hard surface meet. Height to match, tile, stone or wood thickness. Available in clear & bronze finish. CTC Bar METAL EDGE STRIPS: Provide anodized aluminum edge strip with 1/8" reveal at top edge and integral provision for anchorage to mortar bed or substrate. Height to match tile, stone or wood thickness. Finish to be determined by architect. CTC Tranz METAL TRANSITIONS: Provide anodized aluminum transition where non-level flooring surfaces meet. Must meet ADA Guidelines. Height to match tile, stone or wood thickness. Available in clear & bronze finish. CTC Ramp METAL TRANSITIONS: Provide anodized aluminum transition where non-level flooring surfaces meet. Must meet ADA Guidelines. Height to match tile, stone or wood thickness. Available in clear & bronze finish.
