Buffalo Stone Shower Basin Installation

PREPARE SUBSTRATE FOR INSTALLATION Provide a level, clean substrate Locate center of drain per Architectural Plans Provide a 5" diameter hole 2" deep minimum in the substrate for the drain assembly

CENTER BASIN OVER THE DRAIN PIPE Note: CTC recommends that the basin is bedded and leveled in a plaster or cementitious material

NO-CAULK VERSION Apply a 1/4" bead of silicone caulk on the closest edge to the drain hole Screw drain housing into the integral drain flange until top of drain housing is 1/8" lower than the shower Insert gasket between drain housing and pipe Set gasket with the gasket set ring Insert stainless steel strainer LEAD JOINT VERSION Apply a 1/4" bead of silicone caulk on the closest edge to the drain hole Screw drain housing into the integral drain flange until top of drain housing is 1/8" lower than the shower floor surface Assemble drain per local plumbing codes Insert stainless steel strainer
